Thank god you're not in the army. They line you up like cattle and stick you in both arms at the same time. Oh and they will frick up your records so you have to get 10 shots in two months

I hate shots too. That said, two years ago when my second child was on the way my wife demanded that I get the flu shot (and one other immunization) to help prevent getting sick with a newborn in the house.
I hadn't had a shot in a while and was not looking forward to the experience. Surprisingly though, the new needles (or maybe just new to me) made the experience nearly painless. The shot really just itched like a mosquito bite vs. the pain of being stuck with a needle.
