I never knew what a Blood Orange was. I think I will pick some up next time at the store. I like good citrus.

I get your point. It is kind of a weird thing to be pissy about.

But to be honest, if I saw a truck of Mexicans selling produce on my county road in BFE, I'd be wondering wtf myself.

When I was a kid, whites/blacks drove through our neighborhood knocking on doors selling just about any vegetable or fruit you wanted right off a wagon they were pulling with a truck. Lots of neighborhood people purchased.

Blood oranges have been showing up more often in BTR groceries. How bloody the flesh looks varies a whole lot. Sliced thin and pressed inside a glass, very red ones make an apersol spritz look especially inviting. They have the same effect chopped up in a pitcher of sangria.
