Disputing the charge with the bank or credit card company is about the only option if you feel like going through the hassle.

I had a "lifetime" membership.

they went bankrupt. I suspect chicanery, and a great retreat in St. Thomas.

this is a perfect example of how a lot of "lifetime warranties", oil changes for life, etc. aren't really worth anything if the company goes under.

Try to dispute it with your credit card company. Arguably it's fraud if they accepted your money knowing they were about to file bankruptcy.

ya, idk if the owner technically went "bankrupt", but the december rent was apparently never paid as there was an eviction notice on the front door.

havent been able to use the facilities in over a week
