During my married years, it only came off when I made hamburgers or meatballs. Since the papers were delivered to me in January, it came off, and even the dent in my finger is slowly going away.

I never take mine off
My dad also never did until my youngest brother was born prematurely. He was 2 pounds and my dad wanted to show how small he was so he popped off his ring and put it on my brother’s arm. It went up to his armpit

I rarely wear mine, and I’ve lost 3… the first one snorkeling on my honeymoon.

i also do not wear a ring. i hate wearing rings, i never will like wearing rings. Its just a hunk of metal that doesn't mean anything.

Why? She can keep hers on too.

Don't wear it in the shower, sleeping, playing golf or refereeing soccer.

I had two ring incidents - once, it got caught on a roof gutter that I was clearing as the ladder sunk into the mud. Had a few tense moments of dangling by that finger. Had to pull up and unhook myself which I remember vividly - even decades later. Thought it would peel the meat from my finger like removing a glove Left a scar which looked like a smiley face.
Another time, I was loading some lumber and the ring got smashed out of round onto my finger which was painful and difficult to remove. Not nearly as bad, but I finally learned to take it off before doing any real work.
Then I got a job working around aircraft and we were required to remove all jewelry due to open electronics.
I figure those watch pockets on jeans are a great solution for storing rings.

Took mine off about 10 years ago. Best thing that ever happened.

For those that wear the silicon ones. I tried them and it was rubbing the skin off my finger and it stayed damp underneath. Anyone else have same issue?
