Has anyone else been solicited by these guys? It’s happened twice in the last few days. Once I was having a drink after work at Bistro Byron’s on govt and once at Albertsons on college. They’re selling a Midas coupon for $45ish that gives you three oil changes and tire repairs/rotations. Both have been sloppy fat white dudes carrying around a clear pouch full of cash and coupons. Gotta be a scam

I did a job like that back in the day.
Not a scam. Door to door direct marketing.
We used to sell coupon books for $20 and we made $9 for each one sold.

Why are you against people trying to better themselves?

Because they bother me and I just can't have that.

If you can't even trust them to take care of themselves, then how can you trust them with your money?

Not a scam

It’s a great deal. I recommend buying it next time you see the guy.

Some meth looking cracker tried to do this with a booklet of NTB coupons here at a gas station in Atlanta last week.

He wanted $20.00 for a book worth $500.00! What a deal!

Nah, the scamming starts once you get to Midas and they tell you ALL the things that are wrong with your car and make you feel like a POS for not wanting any of the extras.

I've seen guys selling coupon books for years now door to door. If you use them, I guess it's a decent deal. I'm too skeptical and too lazy to worry about coupons.
