Guy Only In It for Hookups/Girl Falls in Love Type of Relationship Question

Have you ever been in a relationship where it wasn’t exactly a serious relationship, it was more of a physical relationship that initially started with no strings attached, but the girl involved fell in love and wanted more? Or, ladies, on the flip side, the guy fell in love? How did you deal with that? If the girl got pregnant, did it change the whole situation or not?
God’s honest truth, this is not about me, but two people that I both know. Kind of a messy situation, just trying to get some advice on how to give advice. Thanks

A long time ago I met an incredibly beautiful girl at the beach. She was on vacation and I was on a 4 day pass from the military. Things happen at the beach you know…

Yeah I know some people that the girl was basically friends with benefits with her ex husbands cousin. At first it was something that she knew couldn’t go anywhere because she has 2 kids with the ex husband. Now I think this girl is fully in love with this dude and is thinking it could possibly work out. I think the guy is just using her until someone else comes along. They both hate the ex husband but the kids are what’s going to make this messy as hell.

Many of my relationships have been like this minus the pregnant piece so don't know how to speak to that part.
Minus the pregs piece though it seems the girls decide to take it to the next level with out telling the guy (ie me) and so I never make that emotional movement but they have. Once you realize it then break up. I tend to prefer the "get them to break up with me" approach, so it's an easier separation long term since they made the decision. If the guy does it the girl never truly moves on and gets cray.
This is why I don't believe guys can be just friends with chicks. Going back to another thread the other day.

There are never no strings attached, especially for women. Someone ALWAYS wants more.

Well, if you keep having sex then you are essentially in a real relationship, because knowing she loves you and continuing to screw means strings are attached. At that point, you either move forward or breakup.
