Attempted break-in? There was a loud party down the street is what I am reading. His friend said they took off because they had a little weed on them . Nothing really sounds fishy except the owners statement that he fired a warning shot that ended up killing someone . Oh and that the homeowner could not provide an address where they were, thus disputing that they were on or in front of his property

. . . and they shooter's "warning shot" from the garage. I'm not a gun owner but wouldn't that be something you point the gun straight up for? Hard to do if your trajectory is closed off in the first place.

That is the part I simply don't get at all.

Also, who the hell fires a "warning shot"? Any responsible gun owner knows you'd better not put your finger on the trigger unless you mean to end a life.

but jumping to conclusions about the character of the victim doesn't help support that

ftr I don't think he was directly concluding anything about the victim's character even if it came off that way. He was only suggesting his perspective as a property owner.

Understood. I was just including the other poster's suggestion within the realm of possibility.

If the shooter is found guilty, his life in prison will still have more value than that of the thug he shot. This will undoubtedly trigger the hell out of you. Mainly because it's true and you know it.

I don't know what to believe any more. You have a white wife, you don't protest, your brother attended a TRUMP rally(pretty sure I remember that thread being about your brother) and from what I have gathered from the PTB, you oppose Obama. My god man, you're as white as me.

You forgot NASCAR. I'm an avid NASCAR fan

I also wear flatbills/listen to hip hop/play basketball all the time, so idk what box I fit in anymore I just do me.

I never once implied anything about race. I called him a thug. You interpreted that as a race thing.

I base that on, in this country, innocence until proven guilty. The criminal record of the dead guy helps support my opinion. Wouldn't you agree?

Dude is a fricking coward. Calls the law and tells them to come to his house. Shoots somebody through a fricking window. Hauls arse inside his house to check to make sure cops are coming to save his chicken arse.

If he, knowing the cops were probably on the way, had of stepped outside his garage with the shotgun, it would have probably ended the event that I don't think happened the way he claims. Hell he probably shot before he called 911 the first time.

He shot someone through a window !!! How was his life in danger? I'm sure nobody was aware he was even in his garage until sometime after he killed someone - shooting them through a window. What a coward piece of shite.

Agree completely. He is lying about how this went down clearly. He shot some some dude in the street or on the sidewalk from inside the closed garage door.

He gone. I'm sure he will get treated real nice in prison too.

Does any one in this thread actually own a shotgun and understand what happens when you pull the trigger?

I'd say that you can't determine anything about this situation based on his criminal history from when he was 16 years old. If the homeowner has a criminal history do you assume that he's lying then?

Absolutely. Then we can re evaluate. The truth is we have absolutely nothing to go on other than what the shooter has said. Therefore, that is what happened until our judicial system says otherwise.

Was the shooter in this case the actual homeowner?

And as for determining anything about the situation, I think past behavior is an indication of future character and that applies to both the deceased and the shooter.

I do. Fired literally thousands of rounds. It spreads a lot depending on the load and gauge. But this dumbass fired a "warning shot" through a window that severely limited his angle of attack. He chose poorly. And that's assuming he's telling the truth about what he did.

We're about to have the MOTHER of all BM protests in Raleigh in the coming days.

This may lead to the final nail being driven into the Trump Coffin.
