Yeah no shite. An 86 pound bucket is pretty intense.

On another note, what the hell is the purpose of 86 pounds of gold flake? Surely bars of some sort are more secure and easily tradeable.

Fwiw, 86 pounds of gold in a 5 gallon bucket is roughly 10% of the volume of the bucket.

I saw that. Somebody from an armored car company is about to get fired

Everyone on that truck will be grilled for days until they find that gold.

Seems like it would be pretty easy for police to find a guy trying to fence 86 pounds of gold flakes. Hell any gold flakes.

Not sure if its been pointed out but carrying 86lbs in a bucket for any distance isn't easy.

He worked hard for his booty and should be able to keep it.

This is an inside job. There's no way some street thief would take an 80lb bucket without knowing what's in it.

He carried 86 pounds like a boss for more than a half of a mile. For his size, more than half his weight, that is impressive. A reporter simulated the grab and carry and the reporter struggled mightily to carry it 30 feet.

On the news they said all Pawn Shops are on alert. All the suspect has to do do is find someone who nose about jewelry and sell it to them.
