its hard to move gold bars at full current value. you have to do it as scrap gold and you have to pretty much take a sledge to it for a while.

I'm sure you could find a stupid rich guy or crooked jeweler to buy gold bars from you for 80% their value.
You know, guys that already have gold bars and would just be added to their stockpile.
ETA:
Are gold bars all registered or something? I've seen a few that had no markings, so I didn't believe they were.

I think their concern there was full auto weapons. You don't want to be in possession of full auto weapons that aren't registered in this country, so I feel them on that. But I'd have destroyed that footage and stashed those bars as soon as I realized what it was.

He probably found 25 bars and reported that he found 5.

This would be a terrible idea.
Because obviously this will be suspected and you may be monitored. The best case would be tell absolutely fricking no one for years.

How do you sell gold for a loss when it was free? Yea maybe under market value but you aren't taking a loss by selling them.

Right.
American authorities would probably cut you a break after hearing the story. UK would probably hang you.

Gold sells at spot price almost everywhere. Melt that shite down to bits. Easy peazy, lemon squeezy.

hence scrap value, and they will take less if its still in bar form. A gold bar or coin with standard markings is usually traded/sold at just a few points under current value. Scrap, much less

usually, yes they are marked. as far as ownership registration, governmental and institutional bars are usually the only ones

For sure.
Question: How would an old money, good Englishman aqcuire a gun to go quail hunting at his country estate? Is it just a bitch to do so?
Posted on 4/12/17 at 10:37 am to TheCaterpillar
i think you just have to register it and go through paperwork and regulatory hassles. you can legally own game guns for sure
