He admitted it, but the correctional system is so slow. I served on a jury last year for a crime from late 2013.

Yeah, someone in VPD and the Sheriff's Dept will have some answering to do. The rabble rabble from the old money in town will force them to do something to try and save face with the community.

Latest updates:
-Vicksburg Police Chief Walter Armstrong said authorities believe McCloud had help while he was on the lam in avoiding authorities.
“He had on tennis shoes; nice, white tennis shoes and a pair of blue jeans, so there is some indication someone has been helping him or he stole those items,” the chief said. “But the shoes looked to be the exact size he wears.”
-McCloud was shot several hours after he broke into a home in the 600 block of Fort Hill Drive about 4 a.m. Thursday, fought with the homeowner and his wife and held them hostage until the husband was able to get free, found his gun and shot McCloud. He said the man suffered a non-lifethreatening stab wound and was taken to Merit Health River Region Medical Center for treatment. His wife was hit it the head during a fight with McCloud, but did not have to go to the hospital.
Armstrong said McCloud entered the house through an unlocked door and attacked the husband when he was on his way to the garage to start his wife’s car. The man and his wife both fought McCloud before he was able to subdue them. He said the couple was tied up, but the husband managed to break loose, go get his gun and shot McCloud. He did not know where he was shot. An autopsy has been ordered.
The Vicksburg Post
Press conference scheduled for 11:30. The accomplice story appears to be only rumor.

I wouldn't know where the first bullet went, but I know the other 14 would be in his skull.

It's crazy how little panic there was about this guy being on the run. He was a very dangerous man. There's no telling what he did in the time he's been on the run.

My hometown. I have a feeling I know the family that shot him. Good folks that have always believed in personal protection. I'm glad my hometown is rid of this monster.
