It was an honest question. In the 90s gay prisoners had to wear pink. Your hypersensitivity on the subject has been noted.

I bet you will look into it. Don't forget incognito when you Google "gay prisoners in pink."

Either your username is a reference to your age, or a reference to the age of your sister (wife). Either way, you seem to live a miserable life. What's bothering you today, has daddy abused you more than normal this week?

Didnt use that search term at all because it had nothing to do with the pink uniform.

quote:

Punishment such as loss of good time and disciplinary tickets didn't change the behavior. Officials even took pictures of the inmates -- called ``gunslingers'' -- exposing themselves and threatened to send the photos to their mothers. Nothing worked.Soon, some female staff members began quitting or filing complaints, officials said. So, the Alabama correction department -- which recently reinstituted chain gangs -- resorted to embarrassment. Now inmates who continually expose themselves to female staff are forced to wear hot pink jumpsuits. They must wear the pink outfits not only while in their cells, but during visits with families and girlfriends -- all who, officials said, know what the pink outfits mean.``We've come up with an alternative and that's to embarrass them,'' said Deputy Commissioner J.D. White. ``It makes them feel somewhat like those female staff members have felt.''And why hot pink?``We figured that would be the most embarrassing color,'' White said

The article I linked just references the original proposal. By the time it was enacted it also included prisoners caught having sex.

That may be true but I had never heard of any of this and have a friend who is a corrections officer at Donaldson.

You would think any half brained individual would have some sort of liquid container (beer and/or water) on them while camping to douse the campfire out. I find it hard to believe they were a.) completely out of all drinkable liquids b.) not near any natural water to fill empty containers to douse the campfire.

Some people are just stupid. Considering they were from Alabama they should have known better. Parts of Alabama are dry as hell certain times of the year. But we are lucky we dont have the wind during those times that they do.

He probably even took glass PBR bottles to camp too.

ETA: I can't tell yall how many times I've rolled up to a camp spot for a weekend to find glass from broken beer bottles scattered around. As a dog owner, that pisses me off and I have to waste my time picking up as much of it as I can.
