There are are a couple old folks on my street who are constantly out bagging leaves and weeding or whatever, but lawnmowing is pretty much a Central American economy where I live.

I cut my grass in the evenings during the week, like a civilized individual.

No better feeling than wrapping up the lawn on Thursday evening.

I like cutting my own grass, I like cleaning my own pool. I even take out my own garbage. I have a handyman to take of shite I don’t have time to frick with. If I could cut my own hair I’d do that too.

Pretentious 30thousandaires pretending that they hire people to do all those simple chores are just little kids.

a man should always cut his own lawn, take care of the pool, and at least be able to change his own oil.

If on a Saturday I become conscious at 6:00, get up and take a leak at 6:10, get back in bed and doze for another half hour, then read TD on my phone until 8:00...did I sleep in?

In Super Saints defense, I'm sure his wife pays for someone to do the man type work at their place.

If you're cutting the grass at 6 AM. You're a count. However, if you're a grown arse man leaving a note on your neighbors door about them being a count, then you're a soy boy.

I cut my grass like I bang. Usually every other Wednesday. And never before 10 or after 7

His wife’s dad pays for those things.

If I wait two weeks right now I’d have to use a bush hog

Meh. The only pretentious ones in this thread are the people attaching some feigned moral virtue to cutting their own grass.

If you enjoy doing it, by all means, knock yourself out, but to pretend like it anoints you with some virtue or makes you better than others is kind of pathetic.

I work a lot of hours at my job. When I’m not working, I prefer to relax and/or spend time with my family. The de minimis amount of money that I pay to have someone cut my grass is well worth it.

You don’t have 1 hour a week to spend time outdoors cutting your own yard?

Man you must be important

Maybe take

And work in a few to take care of your own shite instead of spending “all those working hours” posting on a message board

Do you not get his point or are you just being a dick?

Your response will dictate my thoughts henceforth

So his reason is that he doesn’t do home chores around his house is because he works a lot of hours? Cry me a River

Reasonable stance. The “WHY DONT YOU MOW YOUR OWN YARD” v. the “LOL IM RICH I PAY SOMEONE 100 BUCKS A MONTH TO MOW MINE” crowds are equally hysterical

And values his off time with his family more than the $60 or whatever to get his yard mowed. Pretty simple concept

That whole hour a week is pretty damn valuable

If I’m not mistaken MoJeaux lives in New York. He probably doesn’t even have a yard to cut
