I apparently missed where there was a "fundamental right" to display a Confederate flag at a private corporation's sporting event in the Constitution or Bill of Rights.

I don't think I could roll eyes any harder.

How do you feel about businesses denying service to a potential customer for any reason of their choosing?

I'll wait right here for the cancel culture brigade to try and force Hawaii to change their state flag.

Nothing says historical accuracy like the Confederate Air Force.

Actually... the Confederates used hot air balloons for artillery observation first.

Are all the flags of countries that have gone to war against the USA banned? Nope.

Are there a lot of Iraqi and Afghani flags flying around a NASCAR track?

Don’t do away with that Bonnie Blue just yet. It may come in handy.

Let's rephrase his statement a tad:

quote:

Its un-American yo fly the flag of traitors we defeated in war.

Did a canon and rifle demo at my kids school last year had all the old flags and discussed their meaning. Lots of parents attended as well. Just another reason why I moved here. Public school as well not to mention there is still prayer in our public schools here. I will fight tooth and nail to keep our way of life we have down here.

They put on a MASSIVE reenactment of the Battle of Shiloh in the early 90s at Shelby Farms in Memphis. So cool to watch. Not just the re-enactment but they had camps, hospitals, etc set up of the time and everything

I’d be willing to bet 99% of people encouraging the removal of anything confederate don’t have any clue about the Bonnie Blue.

Maybe I should quit posting it

Apparently NASCARs biggest supporters are fans of a rebellion that lost 2 centuries ago.

Changed their name to "Commemorative Air Force" way back in 2002.

The stars and bars used today aren’t even about the Confederacy. It’s basically a symbol for people who don’t like being told what to do or don’t give a shite about authority.

And it’s not just Southern folk who fly it either. My buddy went to some dirt track race in Connecticut a few years back and saw more Confederate flags there than he had at any point in his life growing up in South Carolina.

It is a great irony that the confederate and U.S. flag finally seem to be united under one cause.

Complete idiocracy.

The rebels in eastern Ukraine used the St. Andrew’s Cross flag, sans stars.

Bit of an oddity.
