And on a fricking Friday. Seriously, I haven't heard of this shite until recently, but it seems as if this is a common practice in Louisiana. Seriously, this is entirely selfish asking a large portion of the guests to take a day off of work for it.

Not a fan of Friday night weddings at all.
And no alcohol at a wedding is cheap as hell. If the bride and/or groom don't drink, they should still have a bar for their guests.

Went to a dry wedding last year. Treated it like I did tiger stadium when I was in undergrad. Brought two small flasks of Bourbon, one in each jacket pocket... With permission from the groom of course.
