Yeah. 5 PM on the table here. Looks like 30" or so to me.

Awesome pics! I've been at a kids swim meet today and haven't really followed things but it looks like the thinking of 24-30" with possibly widespread 30s was solid. I did get a text saying DCA was reporting low again (clown show!) while areas nearby were reporting a good bit more. Looks like The Knickerbocker will hold on to the #1 spot.

Looks like parts of WV went off the deep end!

and NYC/NJ are getting crushed. This could make a run at a NESIS 5 rating.

Probably only about 8 inches total here in Williamsburg, we were on the mix line last night which melted a lot but got about 4 more inches today.

Id much rather have a shite ton of snow over a severe weather outbreak with severe hail and tornadoes. at least snow melts.

Boston got 6-8 inches instead of our forecast 2-4 inches. I think we got about 7 in the front yard. Interesting that the mesoscale models did a lot better than the global models forecasting Mass.

6.1 was the official total at the airport where I forecasted 2-4

I'm shocked... For the big storms, it seems like Philly and Boston always bust high and DCA always comes in with some absurdly low number. DCA came out yesterday and admitted that they have not been using proper measuring techniques. No snow board, no sweeping, no nothing! People have been complaining about this for years and they have always defended their reports as accurate. Sounds like a rerun of them defending their busted warm biased temp reports for years and years before admitting that there was an issue.

The Blizzard of 2016 will certainly go down as one of the all time greats

A couple of final images. Sorry again for the size. Here's my freaking long arse driveway after. Top of the snow blower is over 30" high and that's after I did the parking pad yesterday at noon. That trash can is sitting on a bench that's 16" high so that's pushing 4' of snow there.
