Any reason Kennedy spent one penny on this campaign? Name recognition for bigger things in the future (VP in two years?) Overestimated Gravy’s popularity based on twitter “likes/retweets”?

Numbers I am seeing
District
Early & Absentee Reporting - 1 of 2 parishes
Election Day Reporting - 13 of 117 precincts
1458 Royce Duplessis (DEM)58%
1056 Mandie Landry (DEM)42%
Total: 2514
I don’t think she’ll win. Wrong skin color.

The fact that he got almost 19000 people to vote for him is fricking terrifying

I believe when you get 12% of the vote, you knew long before election day that you wouldn’t win.
Also, I’m pleased Luke Mixon got curb stomped after running on a combination of patriotism and feticide.

12% is more than I expected. His mom must have told him he'd have to start paying for his own food just before he decided to get into politics. Boy is hustlin...... metaphorically.

The fact that he almost is pulling half of some guy that the D pacs put a bunch of money into is something.

Does this district include parts of N.O.? I can see him getting the black vote there, as well as North B.R. I see him running for a local election vs another State-wide position.

The US Senate race is a statewide race.

We all know why they voted for him. He was the right color and the most visible.

Wait until you see the final numbers. He’s currently at 177k statewide.
