I assume you mean media here as I do not think anyone would really argue the dem's solely control the narrative in this country. Anyway, no arguments from me on the media's role in stirring up shite through intellectually dishonest takes.

You have some proof of this claim? Or is this just your feelings on the matter?

Wait, are you disagreeing that Trump intentionally divides Americans into opposing camps as part of an intentional strategy? And you want proof that he does this? Look man, I've got no problem with Trump supporters but if you need 'proof' that this is a tactic he uses(to great effect) I think you're tipping your hand that you do not intend to be honest in this discussion.

I hate this white guy equally as much as I would hate a black guy for killing someone. You just see it more often from blacks.

Yes, in the way that you are insinuating. He rallies his base and attacks opposing politicians, just like every other politician out there. That's not what you're talking about though, so yes....I'd like to see some proof he's doing things differently than other politicians since the beginning of time.

ETA: I mean it’s not like he’s calling the democratic voter base deplorables or anything.

Again, totally unfeasible. As awesome as it would be trained dogs are extremely valuable as are good trainers. There just aren't anywhere near that many to go around.

A good fur missile would have definitely made a difference here and I would LOVE to see them used more. I love working dogs and training police dogs would be a dream job for me. It just won't ever happen.

Tasers seem so ineffective in arresting a thug, so why even use them?

Police officers should be trained to use a gun in hostile situations, not rely on ineffective tasers, and pepper spray. Sure we want no-one to die but cops should be able to protect themselves and others nearby instead of worrying about the life of a perp.

You don't think the Trump administration, with it's hyper-focused and intentional tactic of dividing Americans against each other bears some responsibility for this climate? You won't conceded 10%? 5%? Why didn't this happen under Obama?

Please note- this is not a defense of Obama. Let's not go there. I'm trying to pinpoint why this problem just sprung up recently.

It's hilarious that you think Trump is dividing this Country intentionally.

Police shootings didn't just "pop up" either. It's something people are recording more now, yes.

If you can't see that Trump is doing his damndest fighting an evil establishment, you are beyond help.

That little shite was off the charts high, neither pepper spray or taser worked.

But a police officer was murdered, so Black Lives Matter is cheering in the streeets.

Biden is as much to blame as his cohorts. His own freaking running mate is helping rioters make bail - you know, former rapists and such.

That still doesn’t change the fact it’s not Biden allowing this shite to happen. It’s the mayors, DAs, and governors. Trump can only offer to help.

Maybe the worst take in the history of takes. CNN and MSNBC are dividing the country. When you only air a small segment of a police shooting or police shootings of a singular race, you are race baiting your viewers. Like 95% of the shite they run is completely false and fits an agenda they are pushing. Just fricking report actual news

Wow, I mean, there's an endless list to choose from. Trump blamed COVID, a threat that he says he always knew was deadly, as a democratic/ media hoax. Would Bush have done that? He said that Mexican immigrants are typically bad people; rapists or drug dealers. Note: I don't support open borders, just an honest discussion. He admits to discrediting the media even in instances where they are reporting accurately as a strategy to cause mistrust (i.e, anything critical of Trump is fake news). In an effort to divide Americans against his perceived enemies, he says American POWs, who have given us everything, are not heroes. Would Obama have done that?

Those examples are all different, but I can't imagine any other American president in our lifetimes partaking in those actions. And they usually follow a theme. He often even has a legitimate gripe. But he injects emotion, hyperbole, and dishonesty into the equation in an effort to force the moderates who understand nuance to pick one of only two sides.
