Leave your guns at home!

Very sad this young woman left Chicago of all places to get murdered by the usual suspects.

The Saints already solved this problem.

Has Granny tried taping names of felons to her police hat yet? That should do wonders

Those pics remind me of why I hardly ever go to the FQ any more.

I watching this on WAFB this morning , the News Anchor Matt said she was also quoted as saying “ They were in the wrong place at the wrong time “. WTF? You’re a tourist city. They keep hiring these liberal POS. I have friends from out of state that say “ you’re so lucky to live close to New Orleans “. I tell them quick we don’t and most local people I know avoid New Orleans

This would make great comedy if only a young woman hadnt lost her life.
Just "leave your guns at home"
If there was anywhere in the world I was going where I could legally CC Bourbon Street would be close to if not #1 on the list of places where I would not "leave my gun at home"
Our urban areas where youths tend to congregate are third world.

Does that statement mean they gave up on their “it’s a school zone so you can’t carry legally” in the FQ tactic of a while back?

The shooting happened in the 100 block of Bourbon....

Policing a tourist area like the FQ isn’t rocket science. Using the tactics used by the NYPD of the Guliani/Bloomberg era, that place could be made very safe. But NO has made the decision (thanks Mitch and Latoya) to gut its police force and make it a totally reactive force completely reliant on surveillance cameras. The notion of having police deter and prevent crime is non existent in NO.

"people were at the wrong place at the wrong time"
Bourbon street IS the wrong place. All of the time now.
" mixing guns with drinking is the problem"
Signed, Miss DEI.

Yep I absolutely love day drinking on bourbon watching games. Haven’t been in a really long time with no intention of returning.

Safe wager not one of those guns was legally possessed, owned or acquired by the shooters.
adding the fact that none of the shooters should have been walking freely among us and incarcerated for earlier crimes. Yet again it will prove we do NOT have enough people locked up.

I miss going to New Orleans. We use to go at least once a year for a long weekend. Wouldn’t go now even if you paid me.

There was a time when the biggest problem with spending a few hours on Bourbon street was remembering where we parked the car.

Oh, that makes total sense.
I’m so happy someone was able to come up with such amazing critical thinking that a perfect solution was thought of.
Should absolutely garuntee that no one will be carrying guns on bourbon street anymore

Tragic, senseless, deplorable murder. Prayers for that woman’s family. Shooters need to be locked up for life without the possibility of parole.
NOLA still on pace for a 50 year low in homicides. And 12 of those homicides alone were from the New Year’s terrorist. More than 50% lower than just two years ago.
