When you start listing your pedigree, you're losing credibility sporto. No one cares.
As far why the pitbull type is bad, here's my thoughts. And I promise, I'm putting aside emotion and OT swagger. Just real talk on why I think the type is a menace:
- Due to purposeful breeding for specific results, the type has a heightened potential to do physical harm. They are built to kill. It's what they were designed to do. They have stronger jaws, necks, and are overall a much more powerfully built breed, for the express intent of being able to fight and win.
- They seem to be much harder to anticipate in their actions. Most breeds show a lot of signs through body language before they attack. They bark, growl, hackles raise, other very noticeable signs. I've seen too many reports of Pitbulls going from calm to killer in an instant, with no warning. They are in kill mode before anyone knows there's even a possible danger present.
- This kill mode seems to be triggered by some internal switch that no one can figure out. Time after time you hear of some darling of a teddy bear pitbull that's been an angel it's whole life suddenly becoming a machine of destruction for no apparent reason. From sweet puppy to ripping someone's face off in a blink.
- Because of their reputation as being badasses, they attract the worst kinds of owners. Pieces of living shite that have no reason to own a dog, even a chihuahua, get pitbulls to bolster their ego. (I'm not saying that's you, you said you are a badass fire fighter and I'll take your word on it so whatever) Human trash breeding the canine equivalent.
- lastly, why that breed? There's TONS of other breeds, as well as TONS of mutts out there that are just as loving, just as loyal, just as sweet, without the problematic and deadly qualities that pitbulls possess.
I just don't get it.

You know I like you. I just need to give you a hard time.
FWIW I wish they would imprison people for life who neglect their dogs and they end up killing or hurting someone. Just my opinion.
