Correct, it’s worse, he didn’t just answer the door with a gun, he came out the house pointing the gun at cops.

At least you acknowledged the little information we do have after being called out for just completely making shite up

I’m going by what I just read. I quoted it for you. And it’s not a plan. I’ve had people knock at my door in the middle of the night before. And I have a ton of guns. I’ve never once just walked outside my house strapped pointing guns at people. I check my ring or look through a window to see who it is first before answering.

I had a black teenager ring my doorbell and knock late one night. I checked the window and went grab my 9 and answered the door. Kept it by my side where he couldn’t see. He was looking for a friends house a few doors down. He apologized and that was that. Only time I’ve ever had to grab my gun for a possible home defense situation in my lifetime.
So keep lauging dipshite.

No anger at the phone company or whoever assigned the wrong address to the phone number?

Im stating exactly what I read. You were the one stretching assumptions. I only assumed the cops followed their protocol and announced themselves, especially early in the morning.

Maybe they did, maybe they didn’t. I’m saying they are suppose to if they followed protocol. So I assumed they did.

I have no idea why you’d assume that

Maybe don't go at 2am.

Maybe go during the day and try to take them when they leave the house.

Call 911.

Ya, were going to wait until its daylight to come because you gave the phone company the wrong address for your house.

Did you even read the thread, Jesus.

They were called there for a disturbance, the address for the number listed was wrong. The cops went to the address they thought was correct, guy comes out pointing a gun at them.

Idk, because it’s their job. And they weren’t doing some high alert warrant sweep trying to arrest someone. It was a disturbance call.

And it’s common sense if you going to the house that late just so they don’t get shot at.

Ahh ok, my bad. I think I inferred something else from a different comment and went with it. That's on me.

Dude was asleep in his house in the middle of the night and heard a disturbance at his door. How in the ever living frick is he supposed to know it’s the cops? He should have just walked out unarmed hands on his hand just in case?

I understand not everyone has a ring camera. But do y'all not have windows? Like it seems like it'd be pretty easy to look outside and see the flashing lights, police cars in the driveway, etc.

I doubt they promised 100% fool proof perfect reports - merely a tool that would potentially help get you pretty close pretty often

But could be wrong

To be a cop you have to be an absolute retard. What a bunch of fricking cocksuckers. In instances like this qualified immunity should be out the window. Lock these pieces of shite up for 20 years

So the homeowner just happened to be in his garage at 1:45 am and armed? Yeah sounds a little fishy to me.

It's not unusual for a gearhead to be in his garage wrenching on something at 1:45 am, especially on a weekend when there might be a race or a meet coming up.

As for having a gun handy, you are quite vulnerable when you're on your back underneath a car.

PLENTY of examples of criminals impersonating police in ring cameras

No knock warrants and aggressive military style police raids dont make the public safer.
