80% welfare society? That would pretty much be a communist state. We will continue to improve technology to the point we will be able to do more with less people, but humans will always find something to create an economy around.
There are the most basic things humans will have a demand for. Food, clothes, items used on a daily basis (cleaning products, beds, furniture, material used to build places for people to live). And I am not saying this to joke around, but even sex (as long as people will buy it, it will be away for people to make money).
There will also always be the demand for transportation, etc.. My point is. There is enough demand out there that I would bet you whatever that by 2037 humans will not be living in an 80% welfare state.
