I still have no idea what a curfew can accomplish. The shelter in place orders in other cities have no teeth and there are exceptions to go plenty of places. It will just create more panic and more runs on grocery stores.

My guess is to eliminate house parties. What else does it accomplish? The only things open at that time since the bar/casino/restaurant closings are drive thrus and gas stations.

Eliminating a possible house party is a very weak reason for a curfew.
