I imagine you work in an industry where there's a sign in the restroom instructing all employees to wash their hands.

I'm always the first one to the office. It's wonderful.

I make a pot of coffee, check e-mails, drink coffee, etc all in complete silence. It is the only time of the day that I get silence.

I treasure that time.

I remember working on an hourly rate and not having work to consume every second of my day and more.

You mean you play on tigerdroppings before you have to worry about getting walked in on?

Usedo to get so much done in that hour from 7 to 8. Now, I've turned that time into frickoff time that usually spills over to about 9:30.

I'm usually the first one here and the last one to leave. I get way more done when no one is here, because I don't have constant calls or knocks on the door. If I worked normal hours, most of my stuff wouldn't get done.

When I worked at an office, I used to do that. Got more done in that hour than the rest of the day.
