Got this book as a gift a while back - it's really well written about WW2 ships

Not sure why someone chose this book as a gift for me since I am in now way connected to shipping or the Navy but I am glad they did. Great book!

An excerpt I found in the NYPost. Just passing it on because maybe someone would be interested.

The kind of book you can really sink in, right?

Interesting looking book, I’m more into planes but, whatever floats your boat.

Couldn’t resist.

Anything in the book about the HMT Rohna? My grandfather was a survivor of that ship's sinking. It was touring in the Mediterranean.
