I have two employees that are very attractive women. One was a dancer for an NFL Football team, one was on a modeling reality show.
In our staff meetings and group settings they are very cordial to each other.
One on one, they are straight up mean to each other.

Any single man who has spent a lot of time attempting to pick up chicks in bars knows this to be true and learned it quickly.
I'm still unmarried but was truly single for quite awhile in a decent-sized city and spent a fair amount of time third-wheeling in bars. My friends' girlfriends would sometimes accuse me of being afraid to approach women in groups not understanding why it is such a hostile environment.
I'd explain to them: The main reason that I and other men fear approaching women in groups is because if there are other single women in that group they will immediately hate you for not choosing to approach them and do their best to sabotage the pick-up attempt.
Now, you can chalk this up to me just being a creepy blob, but when I mention this to other single men this seems to be their experience, too.

We do all the same shite women do - gossip, power plays, etc.
We're just way less petty about all of it.
My wife is in the same industry I am, at a comparable level, at a really good firm. The amount of shite she has to put up with from other women is insane. It's really no surprise professional women end up with a chip on their shoulder. It's not because of men IMO, it's because of other women.

I work mostly with women. If you don't learn how to tune them out, then there's no help for you.
I hear them speaking, but pay no attention to the words. I takes some training, but it's the only way.
