Advertising by lawyers in La. is relatively recent.
Can't fault Morris Bart for creating an empire where there was none but he buttfricked the plaintiff lawyer industry and he skyrocketed insurance rates.

that mimics McKernan's popular TV ad

McKernan pulled a little bitch move and copyrighted "G-guarentee" so when E Eric came back and used E-guarentee...McKernan sued him.
I with E Eric on this one.

I with E Eric on this one.

Would be great if there was a bar association ban on advertising in Louisiana. The highway 90 corridor from New Iberia to Lafayette is shameful.
As a lawyer who dabbles in PI work and who believes in corporate right to free speech, I sadly agree. It's gotten out of hand. Lamar loves it though.
ETA: I agree with the notion that we have to stem the advertising. Not saying to go against any sort of constitutional law.

There's only one way to settle this.

Advertising by lawyers in La. is relatively recent. Used to be, you could get in Dutch if the shingle you hung outside your office was too big-- it was considered "advertising".
Gordon has a huge rock/concrete sign by the road in front of his office. There is a 3 foot tall metal "G" that spins around in the center of the sign.

Lamar must be making a killing of legal advertising in this state. 90 alone from Lafayette to NOLA must represent a massive chunk of money.
Posted on 7/5/17 at 1:14 pm to MikeBRLA
All of Gordon's ads are from a marketing firm that does lawyers all over the country. You will see the exact layout and poses with different lawyers in different states

It's between $500-$1k per month per sign.

Well, more like insurance companies. Making more premiums rise.

They need to let the "Strong Arm" settle that shite.

Gordon McKernan suing E. Eric Guirard over mocking ad by Brosef Stalin
I remember the E guarantee before E Eric lost his license. Always thought Gordon McKernan was ripping him off.

They better watch out or Jim Adler, the Texas Hammer, will come in and swoop up business while they are playing patty cake.
