I would love a self-driving car. I would go on long road trips every weekend and just sleep the entire time until I got where I was going.

I'm way too much of a control freak to be able to go to sleep.

I would think that once most cars are automated it'd probably look frightening from afar (or the back seat).

Yeah, if all cars are automated (and can talk to each other) there will be no need for stop signs or traffic lights. Intersections will just be cars weaving by each other.

I've had a dream I was driving a car, then woke up and really was driving a car before. So if I can sleep and drive I can sleep when the car is driving.

I already read books and articles while driving. A self driving car will make it infinitely safer. I look forward to the day when every single car is self-driving and can communicate with one another. You will probably hardly stop while travelling to your destination.

One of the worst causes of traffic jams are morons that follow other cars too closely, then hit their breaks because they are incapable of maintaining an appropriate speed, causing the car behind them to break until the cars a mile behind are completely stopped. When I see a car riding the arse of another car and breaking repeatedly despite the car in front of it not breaking once, I want to murder that driver and rid the world of his horrendous driving. Once we have self-driving cars that can communicate with one another, that shite will end immediately. To anyone reading this who is guilty of riding another car's arse and constantly breaking, I hope you burn in Hell. And soon.
