The gender wage gap that Dems love to scream about is complete bullshite.
They average all male salaries and all female. Men make more but also work in far more dangerous fields. An Oilfield baw is going to make more than a kindergarten teacher.

Most likely because they bought into the notion that women were underpaid so to compensate google overpaid women employees.

This is true at our company too. They overpay women just because.
