The reason they leave the state.....the accounting/Finance industry is not as available, as Texas/other states. My wife and I would love to move back to LA, but she would have to take a MAJOR pay cut, and the cost of living is higher=double pay cut.

all the good superintendents are working and a lot of the bad ones are as well. I gave up looking for now and found a guy I can use on a contract basis
