Building right now, 4 full baths, 2 1/2 baths, mudroom, laundry room, grout, caulk, schluter/kerdi, & install looking at $4200. Tile obviously not included.

You guys are nuts. It's no more than 2.00 psf and that's with the crew supplying grout and sealer.
I agree
When we were looking to get some flooring installed a year back or so we went to a flooring store to pick some stuff out.
Laminate was $1 , glue down laminate $1.50 and tile was $2.50

$3-4 max for a good installer or two, turnkey (obviously not including the actual tile - which you have) If it's not a larger area it may be hard to find somebody willing to do it for that price though.
Price will also vary based on the tile shape, and pattern. 12-16" squares laid in your typical "grid" should be the cheapest. 12x24 staggered is a little more, and the 6x48 planks will be the most, etc etc

Been quoted 2.50 per square foot in South LA to lay tile (this was by no means a top of the line floor specialist either....just a handyman that someone recomended). I just did it myself after that. Wish I would have paid after about a week of cutting tile with a cheap arse tile saw I bought

As someone who has done some tiling before, $2 sounds like a bargain. I wouldn't argue with $3.
