Good morning folks. Mowing today, in Jan. 
Liz, I remember when you first moved down. You were in a thread, hating life, wondering if this was your biggest screw-up.
HC, 2 is a great age. They learn everything, soaking it up like a sponge. Congrats.

It's a tough age, but I do love it. I just miss my infant. Everyday when he comes home from daycare he runs up to the LSU garden flag and roars at the tiger. It's so freaking cute.

I don't think you had met your BF yet. You were little, and alone, in a big new place. You got settled in, made wise choices, got everything lined up perfectly, then the hurricane came.
That thread was pretty nerve-wracking anyway, then you lost electricity. I have been through a lot of hurricanes but that was the worst.

Oh shite, Irma. Yeah, that was crazy. I have never seen anything like that, and like you, I have seen many. My dad sent the National Guard to check on me, and someone came around and put stickers on the house, like they spray painted in Katrina, indicating they hadn't found any dead bodies. Weird times. But, I love it here now, and I am grateful for my OT friends, like you, Hangit!

Just wasting time. Heading to BR at some point but it’s far to early to head there now. Walked to IHOP to waste time. Got a room in NO Sunday to take in all the festivities then going to the game Monday. When I check in I am going to see if I can get the same deal for Monday but I doubt it.
