I passed the geotechnical portion in October. My second attempt. The last two hours are freaking brutal. There will be some questions that you have no idea of the answer but you can get it down to 2 and just guess

I failed the exam two years ago. Took the school of PE course, but it was still challenging. I bought one from NCEES and used it as a prep today. Acted like it was an exam.

What exam was it? If it was the PPI practice test that isn't that uncommon.

You can buy one from the NCEES website when you register for the test. That's what I did. Sounds like that's what he did too

Good luck to all. It's a tough day but take your time. Do all the problems you know first. Save the hard questions for the very end.

Man , it's been a year already since I took the PE. Crazy.
Good luck everyone. Take your time and read what the question is asking for. They have some obnoxiously easy questions that are basically seeing how well you're paying attention to what you read. Be mindful of extra info in the questions, they like to try to trip you up with that too. Definitely go through the questions and work the ones you know how to do first. You don't want to leave any easy points on the table because you ran out of time.
I was lucky enough to pass my first attempt, hope y'all all pass and get that stamp.

Damn.. can't believe it's been 2 years ago for me. I remember busting my arse all Spring to make sure I passed on the first try so that it wouldn't interfere with football season.

I felt better the first time I took it and failed with a 70% than the second time. My second try I felt like I got every morning question right and only about half of the geotechnical questions right. It's a long month until you get the results
