Watching different clips of the hurricane, the keep saying they are in a concrete building and other stupid claims.
That’s not concrete, that’s stucco.
ABC talking about the roof coming off the hotel as they filmed it. That wasn’t the roof, that was the awning you park under at the front door. It colapsed.
I know there is some crazy arse destruction, but quit being so dramatic, and just report it without giving your stupid opinion or describing it wrong.

It’s like when Anderson Cooper knelt down to make the floodwater in Houston look deeper than it was, only to have 2 guys walk right behind him on live television.

Actually, many of those buildings are reinforced concrete.

He wasn’t kneeling down to make the water look deeper, baw. He saw those two studs coming. It was an invitation.

Umm, the exterior of my FL home is stucco, but the walls are cinder block, filled with concrete. Built like a damn fortress.

You people believe every Facebook meme you see dont you? The actual report is easily available and he was standing in a ditch specifically calling out the dangers of different water depths that you can't see from surface. The proof is available but believe what you want

Ok, so that was a bad example, but I’ve seen other weather reporters doing shady shite like leaning into the wind and pretending they’re getting blown over, only to have people walk into the frame like they’re going for a stroll; or a reporter in a canoe in water that’s only ankle deep.

It was probably ankle-deep everywhere. No chance of problems.

You have no idea how much ignorant comments like this just make me so happy

when discussing the type of building, you typically refer to it as a wood-framed, fire resistant steel, or concrete.

Stucco is just a covering, like siding. You do realize there are walls beneath the stucco, right?

I realize other people have already pointed this out, I just want to reinforce how dumb you're being.
