Is the Picadillys Cortana still open?

If so, why?

What stores are actually going to be left in that shite hole of a mall once Sears closes up?

I almost want to take a stroll through there to see if any stores from the 90's heyday are still around.

Foot Locker may be the sole survivor.

A Kmart store in Gonzales and a Sears location in Baton Rouge are among the 150 stores owned by Sears Holdings that will close this spring.

Where will the locals by their dress clothes?

We need very few brick and mortar box stores in this day and age. It is what it is.

I liked the Gonzales Kmart. It's a lot less crowded than Walmart and the shoe Dept and linen Dept is better than Walmart. Main drawback was having to wait in checkout line for 30 min because only one register was open.

I hate to hear that but it's not surprising. I worked at that sears store in the mid 90's and it was booming. That mall has been on a steady decline for the last decade and I'm sure other stores will follow. Sears was one of the malls anchor stores and one of the largest in the region. Bon Marche part 2.

Damn they are closing the Kmart in Elmwood too? Guess I need to run over there and load up on fishing supplies that are about to go on sale.

And the Sears at the Oakwood Mall on the Bestbank is closing too. Oakwood Mall is having some issues keeping tenants these days if it wasn't for Dicks.
