I could have said that until last weekend. Hadn't had a chance to get out since the week of Christmas.

Then last weekend I ended playing two rounds, one with FIL and 2 BILs, the other was with 6 of my friends for one of their birthdays. And now I have a want to do that every weekend

I used to buy new golf clubs 2-3 times a year. Amazing what having a kid does I've only bought 1 set of irons and really haven't changed much of anything else in that time frame except for playing around with belly putters.

Cobra L5V F-Speed w/ Diamana Redboard
Tour Edge Exotics 16.5* 4 Wood w/ S Flex Fujikura Speeder 757
Tour Edge Exotics 19* 5 wood w/ Rifle 5.5 steel shaft
Cleveland Mashie 3-Hybrid w/ S Flex Miyazaki C. Kua fricking hate this club I don't know why I keep it around. One shot straight. The next 30 yards left.
4i-GW Cobra Amp Cell Silvers Love these bastards. Never thought anything would beat out my old MacGregor NVG2 Mids
SW Ping Tour-S WRX 56-14 w/ Rifle 5.5
LW Taylor Made RAC TP 60-06 w/ DG S300
Putter: Odyssey White Hot Ice #1

Underrated set of irons there. I have been thinking about pulling those out of the grandfathers garage and gaming them until I decide what irons I am buying to replace my POS taylormade irons.

TaylorMade RocketBladez

Worst golf purchase ever. I had to stop playing golf for a few years. My old set was 10+ years old so I wanted some game improvement irons to get back in the swing.

I demoed them....bought them on the spot and have regretted it since the day I received them. I can't control the distance...the ball flight balloons up rather than penetrates and the lower clubs make a gawd awful clack off the face when you hit them.

I tried the Speedblades and had a similar experience. Switched over to the SLDR and they are very different.

except I'm actually not full of shite. I play blades because I have always played blades and love the look of them. I played an old set of Founder's Club tour blades I got off a pro caddie back when I was 16 then moved on to a set of Titleist MB690 and then to my Miura's. Before the Founder's clubs, I learned to play with a set of Hogan Apex blades 1-w, now that was a set of irons.

I played a lot of golf when I was younger so I understand my swing better than most and can fix my shite on the range before I play.

Also, I am wondering how my General Lee/confederate flag putter cover will go over now.
