I've had the same pair of golf shoes for at least 10 years, about ready to move on. Whats a good shoe thats kinda stylish and not crazy expensive?
eta: ive been wearing these, that have screw in spikes, but i know most have just spikes in the sole now

No one really makes leather soled golf shoes anymore, and if they do, they are crazy expensive. Most companies have gone to the "athletic style" golf shoe. My favorite right now is the Footjoy DNA. If you're looking for more traditional go with the Footjoy Icon, or Dryjoys Tour.

those look pretty sweet, $160 is a little pricey though

Hard to find a leather sole shoe anymore .. I wear the Allen Edmonds leather soles ..
Ecco also makes a leather soled shoe that is nice

Pretty sure the first generation hyperflex is on closeout, could be able to pick them up cheaper than that.

Stupid question: the size you wear normally should be the golf shoe size you buy correct?

Footjoy DNA is discounting the first version right now. Great shoe.

If the guy is saying $160 is a little pricey, pretty sure AE and ECCO are out of the question.
You may be able to find some FJ classic dry premiere blems on eBay if you wear like a size 7.5EEE

I had a problem with the spikes consistently falling out, which is why I switched over to the hyperflex.

I have first generation DNA and have not had the spike issue

Rotating between FJ icons, FJ classics, and my new Allen Edmonds. The classics and the AE's are heavy and I wouldn't choose to walk a round in them.
The icons are great shoes and have a more traditional look. For the cheaper version, the Dry Joy Tours have the same look but are a little less expensive.

Nike Golf Lunar Command. I really like these...I've had them for almost a year and I play a few times a month, and they've held up very well
