Who's played it? What to expect? Not much info and not many pics of it out there to see the expectations, is it nerdy? Greens worth a crap? Who's played it recently?

I have feeling it's gonna be like Bushwood.
Old arse design with lots of nerd holes.

Yea but someone has played it recently here I'm sure, Janky described an Augusta National Bayou CC.

He's played it?
Coach chappy played it, but is too whacked out on pain pills to put together a coherent sentence.

Oakbourne is trashy. Play a real course. Like in Crowley

Heard it's the Howell park of SW LA

Short, very tight, tons of trees, not a whole lot of water but some scattered
Small greens, most greens are protected by bunkers
Nice locker room But small
Old clubhouse, the old Lafayette money CC
Don't play in the daily card game, those guys are all loaded and vicious LOL

Very tight, tree lined fairways ... Very very very grainy greens ... Really good par threes .. Played it two weeks ago and it was on good shape ... Not one of my favorites ...
Eta: bandit will shoot 84 and net 107

Can they fight though? Cuz I'll be in the parking lot with my shoes and shirt off if any of them want to go a couple rounds with the champ

Dude. It's Lafayette. They won't be wearing shirts in the clubhouse and they don't even own shoes. Back down now before you get your arse whipped

Great course. Not as long as Le Triumphe but more challenging because of oaks that line the fairways.

Haven't played it in several years, but always enjoyed it. Old course, lots of trees.
