Any personal thoughts out there? I have hit them both and simply would like to know anyone's opinions on these clubs. Thanks in advance.

I have hit the Ez forged and loved them
Also hit the Ap1 and hated them
Thats about all I can offer. Im sure you cant go wrong with either one

I need to know your handicap so I can determine whether or not you rate a response from me.

I've never hit either of these particular clubs but I do love me some Mizuno irons.

Let me put it to you this way, from my experience several of the "good" golfers I know have titleist irons and the majority of shitty golfers I know have mizuno.

That's a backwards statement. I know plenty of scratch golfers who hit mizuno as well as titleist

I think you should look at the AP2 vs. the jpx forged. AP1 is cast.
I am eyeing the jpxez forged as well. I did a demo day with the AP1 and did not like them at all...the AP2 was a much more comfortable club.

Mizuno gives you free shaft upgrade options.

Ap2 are players clubs, if he's looking at those also consider the pings improvement irons. Cast v forged means nada to someone that isn't a very low cap and has played for years

Maybe a mixed bag - 7, 8, 9, PW AP2s then 3, 4, 5, 6 with AP1s - check the gap between the 6 and 7. Then find some nice forged wedges.
The older I get the more I am thinking about another wedge and dropping the 3.....or going with a hybrid for longer courses.

I have 712AP2 and love them.
I will probably buy the 716s when they come out. thinking about trying to go 345 AP1 the rest 2s.

I'll go with the AP1. Hit them a few times and really liked them. They will probably be the next set of clubs I get

I'll beat your arse in front of your wife and kids with my Zuno's

Given that you've asked about these two particular sets of clubs, and with no handicap, trends, type of golfer information given, i would recommend the Mizunos.
