I'm 34 and it took me a while to remember that reference. I would guess the under 30's wouldn't get it unless they had an older sibling or cousin.

Supposed to rain this weekend but it has off and on for the last two weeks so who knows. The new surf park is supposed to be pretty dope I know some people who went a few weekends ago and they said it was a blast. If it is pissing you could go to The Range and rent some machine guns
And of course 6th/Rainey st, The Domain, Yellow Rose

if it was me:
Fri - traffic is gonna be fricked fri afternoon all around your hotel. worse if it rains. bring an umbrella and be prepared to walk or uber.
get in check in hotel
walk down to rainy for happy hour. bangers sausage house you can get a sausage and have some food but have room for dinner. dinner options - eddie v's, trulucks, via 313 pizza. homeslice, perlas on so congres. with a bunch of dudes you may decide ordering pizza is the easiest option. homeslice, via 313, east side pies, mangias
as friday turns to evening, head to west 6th dogwood/rio/rustic tap area and try and pick up chicks. if it isnt going well, rain keeps people away; go to palazzio gentlemans club
sat-
wake up and get an iv treatment
lunch around hotel - gus fried chicken, blacks bbq, hooters, coopers bbq
texas tcu game at 3. get tickets in sections 2-6 row 65 or higher so you are covered by the upper deck when it rains. they sell beer at the games
k1 speed could be fun but it is out of downtown and may take too long
saturday night. by now you have seen rainy and west 6th and can ask the crowd for an opinion. i dont know you you may prefer one or the other, but it is basically the same. no concerts this weekend noteworthy as far as i can tell.
sunday brunch:
this is key meeting chicks if you are there that night. sunday crowd is usually rainy st. i would do brunch however at the grove on west 6th. try and talk to a big group of girls. fyi texas has no liquor store sales and beer at noon. plan accordingly. you can drink before noon at a restaurant with food only. sunday funday i would spend aimlessly walking from place to place on rainy. if you are still alive at dusk go to casino el camino on east 6th and get a burger for dinner. otherwise get a surf and turf at expose. Expose strip club has the best sunday specials. $10 table dances. i would go here for sunday night football

Best place to watch the LSU game in Austin?
Posted on 9/19/18 at 10:51 am to jsmoke222000
If you are into "the great outdoors", you might want to take a drive west into the famous "hill country"...
It's what I did on my first business trip to Austin, and I kept driving and driving and driving, waiting for the hills to appear.
Turned out I'd driven through them because their hills are pretty subtle, but they do love them.

rustic tap for younger crowd. some guy asked about this last week, although every place in town is going to be flooded with texas/tcu folks so be prepared.
shoal creek is more chill, sit down type restaurant. older alumni crowd but almost exclusively lsu peeps.
the new alumni (austin lsu alumni/texas alumni they had some weird split or something) go to shiner saloon. never been for lsu game idk how it is. maybe 30-40s crowd where shoal creek can be 50+
may be hard to get them to put it on anywhere else cause most people dgaf about lsu vs la tech
rustic tap for bachelor cause when the game gets boring AF you can bar hop to other places
