Going fishing during holiday get together

You talking about inviting your cousins to go on a fishing trip somewhere else with you instead of going to the holiday gathering or going to fish in your parents' lake?

straight up in the backyard of my parents house. only complications would be a 20 minute trolling motor ride away from family. (or course,less the time we spent away from from gossiping about each other).

i should have mentioned before that the fishing will probably elimate all physical contact that i will have with said family members that i am trying to avoid.

Ummmm not a dick at all. I would 100% have my carry cooler of beer and spend most of the time on the pond. It’s better than sitting on the couch and talking with some random extended family member about “get to know you” conversations
