How come everyone posted their vaccine pics on line and not their parents?

I didn’t post a pic but did post about it on my fb.

With my father’s health conditions... COVID could possibly be very bad for him so I’ve been super cautious because of that. He has COPD, is overweight, has high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, kidney issues....and is 72.

BMI > 35 and over 80 are the 2 biggest risk factors followed by COPD.
hopefully Big Brother will open everything up soon. I went to the Flora Bama and it was nice walking in a store with no mask on the store employees

He needs to try to eat healthier and walk. My dad at one point had Type 2 but starting walking 60 min a day and lost about 80lbs and the type 2 went away.

It'll be a couple of weeks after the 2nd dose before the vac becomes effective, but after they get through that time frame I'm sure that will be a great relief and one less major thing to worry about.

My dad also has a permanent limp from having polio as a child and it disfiguring him (one leg is shorter than the other..has had one hip replacement so far for it). And he has multiple mental ill issues as well that complicates everything even more. So it isn’t as easy as just telling him to walk around.

Yes 2-3 weeks after second dose I’ll be able to relax a little more around them. I haven’t been around them any without my mask on since this all started.
