Good Morning y'all.

Waiting on the coffee to finish perking. Then I can perk up... after that first, wonderful cup.

Debating taking mini AS up to the camp with this cool weather or to do stay home with him this weekend. That full moon has me questioning if I won't be better off holding off and just spending the weekend with him at the house.

I mean...if we don't go this is good cast iron weather. A good chance to make catheads with him. Maybe make some chile verde and some navajo cornbread on the burner and grill while we watch some football on the backporch tomorrow. Also my truck is sub 10% on oil life and he's old enough to get some oil on his hands and learn how to do it (my grandad would have said he is past the age ).

I did. The retiree was very much onboard. Played a pasture because he has adopted it as his home course, but it wasn't in terrible shape (I've seen that course way worse) and I shot an 83, so I'll take it. It was good catching up with him as well.

Morning all. It’s Friday. Keep it clean. Remember your religious training. No impure thoughts, now. You know who you are.

I almost turned on the gas logs last night. Is it too soon to be over cast iron and sweater weather?

Sweet!

Like a cow pasture? I’m not a golfer so I don’t know if this is slang for a shitty course or if you’re serious - bc in my mind’s eye- I’m seeing literal cows and huge piles of crap.

We had to put up a heater for the chickens last night. I was super worried it would be too hot for them so middle kid volunteered her blue tooth wireless thermometer to help.

No, it's more slang for a course that isn't well maintained. Another common one I hear for these courses is a "goat track". I don't mind playing them as long as the greens are playable. I enjoy playing nice tracks and having those "damn this is a beautiful course moments" as well, but if I can play 18 and grab a cart for under $50...I have no complaints as long as the greens are playable and the rough is maintained well enough that I don't lose 2 sleeves saying F it when I know my shot should have been somewhere playable.

Awe. That was sweet of her.

It’s close to time to get the outside dogs’ kennel set up on the back patio for the winter.

I hate everything about winter btw. I’m already on my ‘Day’s til Summer’ countdown
