I know you said you were going to open the gym at 5 am, but did anyone else show up? It is as cold as a Siberian well diggers butt crack up there.

2 regulars just came in. Basically why I am here. We cancelled the early class mostly because there is a similar one at 8:45. Asked those regulars if they were going to show and most didnt seem to amped about it. 
Once I am up its fine. I bundled up and the car started so frick it might as well unlock the doors. I am out early which tends to mean beverages early so thats fun.

This lil guy gave me quite the scare last night…
Not sure why his face started puffing up. He had gotten some shots yesterday (he had never had an issue with them). And he was started on a new med so maybe that? Or an ant got him? Gave him some Benadryl and thankfully it went down but poor lil guy.

Yeah I was freaking out last night, if the swelling didn’t go down I was taking him to the animal hospital. Thankfully it went down and he just passed out from the Benadryl. Pugs have such smooshed faces it wouldn’t take much to block their airway if their face swells up too much.
He is supposed to take this new med (gabapentin) twice a day. Vet says he likely has pug myelopathy. Which means he will eventually lose all function of his back legs. Med is supposed to help with arthritis type pain in his back legs.
I have to work today so will skip his am dose. I’ll give med again tonight so I can watch to see if his face puffs up again.
