Good morning. Any of y’all get heartburn?

I woke up in the night with it so bad that I threw it up. For a solid half hour. I just laid by the toilet crying after My esophagus hurt so much now.

A good shot of apple cider vinegar.

It’ll burn for 5-10 seconds then you’ll be great.

It hits the worst when I drink more than one day in a row. Even just a glass of wine or something. You can imagine how fun vacations are

Alcohol relaxes the LES, allowing the reflux of stomach contents into the esophagus. It also increases the production of stomach acid and makes your esophagus more sensitive to stomach acid.

Vinegar doesn't work for me. But baking soda in water is a life saver. Works way better than tums.

Good to know. I’m in very rough shape. The idea of eating with this sore esophagus is awful.

Fish - my friends take forever to get ready and I still can’t figure it out. They don’t do anything differently from when I get ready .. they just do them in sloooooooow motion.

Yes!

Either one or the other will work. I’ll do baking soda if I have any.

In a pinch, a heaping teaspoon of yellow mustard dissolved in a cup of water.

I tried this once. Just ate it straight. Burns like hell but it worked.

Morning t00f, IWEI.

I had grilled pork and cassava. I got a care package from my Honduran friend last night. It's what's for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Delicious.
