Two hunters are out in the woods when one of them collapses. He doesn't seem to be breathing and his eyes are glazed. The other guy whips out his phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps, "My friend is dead! What can I do?" The operator says, "Calm down. I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead." There is a silence; then a gun shot is heard. Back on the phone, the guy says, "OK, now what?"

On my way back from Anchorage to South Florida (18+ hr trip). Left Anchorage at 2pm, had a 5 hr layover in Seattle, currently on a red-eye flight to Orlando, then have a 2 hour drive once I land. Long day but the skiing was totally worth it in Alaska

Good Morning Humans
Fiesta Friday!
I’m thinking hearty ground beef loaded tacos for supper.
But until then, a day full of errands to wrap up Christmas weekend supplies and maybe a little tidying up, loud music and good munchies.
Hope y’all have a spectacular launch to the holiday week.

After living in SWFL for 9+ years and Louisiana for the previous 30+, anything colder than 70 feels like the Arctic. We just went to Colombia and it was 88 and sunny every day we were there. If I am going skiing, it better be behind a boat!

Happy Advent Season and Merry Christmas!

I'm a new transplant so still have the cold in my bones. I'll use this weekend to warm back up. Oh managed to snag this Hallmark card type picture of the Nordic spa at Alyeska two nights ago

Morning all,
Remember my puppy updates from last year. I might start them up again.
About a month ago, my dogs started getting me up at 3am to want to go out. I thought, okay, they need to go out. We went out and they found rabbit pellets and I think they realized rabbits are out there overnight, so we started getting up each night right around 3am.
Two nights ago, they finally slept through the night, and I thought maybe this stretch was over. Last night, they got me up at 1:30am and we went out, and there was a rabbit. They almost caught it. They then got me up at 5am wanting to go out again, and we did and now here I am telling you fine folks about it.
