This one really does look bad for the cop. Hopefully he had dash cam at the very least to give us a record of what was said during the incident.

I feel bad for her and her daughter. They may never get over this tragic event. Hopefully they are compensated for the emotional distress the police force has caused them.

Funny, I say the same thing whenever I read a lot of police reports.
It goes both ways. Btw I agree with you.

the whole dept should be shut down

Should have quit when she was ahead. The keeping a kid in jail overnight and not feeding them will be proven to be a lie and then she will lose credibility

Maybe you're right but what if they did do that?

You can tell from the tone of his voice in the first video that the cop knew he f'd up. If it really went down like the girlfriend said (highly unlikely) then I have no problem with him getting charged.

Said multiple times he told the officer that he has a gun WHILE reaching in pocket. That seems like a fairly horrible time for that

Then the governor's speech addressing it will be super entertaining.
Until proven true, I refuse to believe any department is that dumb

Or that he has never drawn his firearm before and he was both angry and scared after the event. The video that I watched a couple minutes of started after the event happened and she was just saying shite from her side of it.
Here is an honest question about all the protesting and rioting, why not wait until the facts come out and see if they charge the cop or not before protesting and/or rioting? It does them no favor to piss off everyone inside the building before they make a decision.

is it me or is the drivers wheel on that car on the right (british) side?

How observant. Can't believe that hasn't been addressed...

Just playing devil's advocate, but you can argue the protesting and attention keeps the pressure on the PD to get an answer out reasonably quickly. I you just play the wait and see game they often end up investigating themselves and nothing good can come from that.

Not sure if serious, but the video was likely taken with the front-facing camera that gives a reverse image. It seems normal when you're recording live and looking at it but it makes for an interesting playback.

What should a person who just had to shoot someone sound like

fair enough. just to keep pressure on them to get a resolution instead of dragging arse hoping it will ghost away. that is an answer I didn't think of.

They don't care about the facts. Bottom line, most police shootings end up being justified. They don't care. Any excuse to play the victim is good enough for them to take to social media and whatever news outlets will give them attention. You think any of the retards protesting for Michael Brown care that his killing was justified? Nope.
