re: girl in one of my classes wants my notes

I had a senior project and most of the people in my group disappeared most of the semester. I gathered all of the data and put together all of the drawings.

When the semester was almost over a few started coming to class and asked if I had done anything on the project. I told him I was nearly finished and the only thing I had left was the written report. They asked if they were still in my group and I said, "Sure, as long as you do the full report." The report was more of a PITA than the data itself.

My group went from basically a group of 1 (me) to a group of 8. Four from the original group and 3 stragglers who I let jump in for a free A. I didn't give a shite because I was graduating.

There was an older chick in her late 30s/early 40s who I heard was bitching about me letting people jump into my group without doing anything. Nothing I did impacted her at all.

The OP is the older, bitching chick in this story since him handing her the notes doesn't affect him one bit; except now he's bitching about it like a typical female.

I wanted him to know that he's being petty about something that won't affect him in the long run.

Letting shite like that bother you is utterly retarded.

If she's ugly and lazy I would just ignore her.

Didn't read the thread, but a chick in my Anthropology class took really detailed typed notes.

Sold them for $20/set before the final. At least 50 people bought them.

i haven't sent the notes yet. I imagine she's getting a little nervous, considering the exam is on Friday.

I may actually end up sending her the notes, but not until tomorrow night at like midnight or something (this is an 8:30am class). will just say I've been really busy and forgot to send them sooner.

For real. Send her the notes, it really isn't any skin off your back. Actually talk to her like a man and tell her you didn't exactly feel comfortable giving them to her but you also don't want to see anyone fail. Maybe she will learn. Maybe you will need help one day. Maybe yall become friends.


But do the right thing. It's not costing you anything to help her out. You don't know what she has been going through this semester. She may have a sick mom at home that she is worried about that keeps her from concentrating. She could have bad ADD and no health insurance. Im just spitballing here, but the fact is it isn't any sweat off your back and youre able to lend a hand for someone that actually had the gall to ask for help.
