Ghost story

I’ve never really believed in ghosts or Demons although I’ve had some questionable things happen throughout my life. But now I’m convinced it’s real.
My wife’s mom has always said that their house was haunted and I always made fun of it. I even offered to sleep in the room that this lady supposedly died and nothing happened. Well, the other day they were messing around with an EVP detector or something like that but were too scared to go into the room and use it. So they call me up to see if I would do it.
Of course I went over to prove them wrong. I got this little beeping machine and went on in. I started asking questions and and I knew they could hear me outside the room. The device said something like clutter so I said “if you don’t like the clutter you can just get the hell out of here. Well I guess that was the wrong thing to say because the machine went crazy and a dark figure with a pointy like head materialized in the corner of the room. I know I saw this. I was stunned. It was like a shadow but it was the deepest black you can think of.
I shot out of there but didn’t tell them what I saw because I didn’t want to scare them. Has anyone had similar experiences?

My friend’s little brother and dad both saw a dark entity in a rent house they were fixing up. To this day he won’t even drive by it because it freaked both of them out so bad.

Yea, this has got me questioning everything. I mean I’m not religious and never have been. But this shite has got me seriously freaked out.

Where did this occur?
I was attacked by a large black shadow once in Afghanistan. It was choking me in my bed and wouldn't let me speak. I was trying to call for help as there was another guy across the room (military barracks), but I couldn't speak.
I finally was able to call out to Jesus for help and it fled immediately. I sat up and was attacked again, but I knew then that calling on Jesus would make it stop, so I did and it went away for good.
Demons are real. Idk about ghosts though.

I had a dark figure materialize in my room like 20 years ago. Scared the frick out of me. Darker than a shadow. Dipped out of there quick. Came back and gone. Slept with lights on, got hammered next day and forgot about it until now.

My cousins have an old plantation house that was built in the 1830s. They claim to have had some experiences. I've stayed there a few times, and nothing except the typical old house sounds. I think some people are attuned to that kind of thing and others aren't.
ETA my grandmother said that my grandfather visited her after he died. She was the least likely person to ever claim something like this. It went against all her religious upbringing, so I believe she experienced something.

One of the coolest things I’ve done on vacation was when we were passing through Gettysburg, my wife and I did a lantern ghost tour on the battlefields.
shite was awesome. I remember the group all went in an old house that’s still there and sitting in the attic telling ghost stories with bullet holes all around us
