If you are really asking what the OT would do then the only correct answer is to PIIHB.
ETA: I am glad to see I wasnt the first to mention this.

Flat tire was fixed, although a donut.
Assuming she drives a small 4 door, the tire couldn't have been more than 125$. I usually drive straight to a tire place and get a new one. Lesson learned I guess.

Tell the cops she wasn't authorized to drive. She gets arrested for unathorized use of a movable. Gets rid of the GF and gets you off the hook. Kills 2 birds with 1 stone

Did the cops come to the wreck? If not then I don't see how you can't get by with just calling the rental car company and telling them you got in a wreck but it was someone else's fault and here is their insurance info. I bet they don't ask too many other questions to figure out you were not driving. If cops came and got GF's info I bet you are still ok because the other insurance is paying so why would they care if you were not driving

So many perverts in this thread. The man came here to get answers and all y'all want is pics of his GF. Shame on y'all

The at fault driver is responsible for paying. And if the damages were minor, that driver's insurance is not going to waste resources going to court.
This is what I figured, although I'm wary of the insurance company playing the "she wasn't authorized to drive the car so we're not paying" card. I think the other car has some rinky dink insurance like GoAuto or something.

alk to the rental company and their insurance should go after the at fault driver.
I'm afraid the rental company isn't going to want to deal with it since I broke their terms, and will just make me pay up. Then I guess I'd have to seek compensation from the other drivers insurance.

Cops did come and get info, and that's what I would think. But any chance for them to relieve themselves of extra work I figure they'd take it. The rental company has my CC and can legally just pay themselves with that since i breached the contract, rather than go through the trouble of fighting with an insurance agency.

the rental wouldn't have even been on the road.
They'll still be liable. IDT that will much bearing, if any, on the liability issue.

If you bought the additional rental car insurance then turn the car in. How do they know who was driving. Btw almost all car insurance is based on the driver not the car making rental car insurance a useless added expense. Once you turn the car in PIIHB

You should be in that Mensa deal.

if you charged the rental to a credit card, you may have some coverage there. rental co will probably charge you for "loss of use" while it's being repaired

Since she is a licensed driver will her own insurance cover any of it?
Posted on 8/26/15 at 5:59 pm to rintintin
damn son... maybe find a place that you can do the job for cash, without insurance claims... other than that, dunno... but good luck to ya

The police report. This isn't their first rodeo.

Does your GF have her own car/insurance. If not, no pay, no play may apply. If so, your screwed.

Answer: fire caused between the friction of the contract and the bill for repairs

What's the rush getting to the funeral parlor. You should have changed her tire, that is, if you actually know how.
