Heard this hurts but am considering getting them taken out. Anyone with experience on this?

It’s a motherfricker. Don’t do it unless absolutely necessary.

Haven’t had it done but heard it sucks as an adult. Lay off the pecker for a month or two and you’re fine baw.

Why are you considering removal?

Had it a few years back (I was 23). Full recovery was a little over a week, but day 3 was the worst. If you need it, just take the pain meds and wait it out. It's not that bad

Had this done along with the UPPP surgery about 5 years ago. Probably wouldn’t have done either on their own, but the mild to moderate sleep apnea and very enlarged tonsils, pain was going to be about the same so I had them removed. You’ll lose about 10-15 lbs from not being able to eat much. But after about day 3 you’ll feel ok.

About how old are you Billy? If you in your 20’s probably not so bad compared to 30+.

Over 30? If so, it’s going to be pretty bad.

I’ve considered it bc of frequent strep throat but am terrified to get them out. Almost 30 and I’ve heard it’s brutal as an adult.

What makes a difference in those ages?

Not as bad as you think.

The only thing I remember was I was shitting a lot bc of the antibiotics and my stitches busted while I was on the pot so this half coagulated blood just filled my mouth. I had to try to wipe my arse while trying leaning forward and let all this blood drip into the toilet.

If you have to ask, you’re under 30.

Does it really get worse with age? It was an easy arse week off of school eating jello and pudding n being waited on hand over foot.

I don’t remember it being painful or anything

I had my tonsils out and my adenoids in my my30s. I figured ice cream and 2 days off. My Doc laughed and prescribed me a pint of liquid codeine if I recall. My Wife bought me a PS4 since I was going to be out of commission.

Worst pain ever and I have had a lot of injuries in my life. I was in tears for 2 weeks straight. PS4 was never opened. The only thing I could somewhat eat was those Sonic slushees. . We cut the codeine with Gatorade because it burned like hell on the way down. If anyone wants pics let me know.

Oh I forgot that a scab fell off and I had to rush to the hospital because apparently you can bleed out.

Everything seems to heal slower with age. Hangovers are worse with age. Recovery from injuries.
